Translation: "(The) ground is coming (toward) us."

Accusative:

Translation: "You touch (the) ground."

Genitive:

Gloss: Ground-GEN root-PL dig deepC.

Translation: "(The) ground's roots dig deep."

Dative:

Gloss: 1PL give-PST 3.GEN corpse-ACC ground-DAT.

Translation: "We gave his corpse to (the) ground."

Locative:

Translation: "I (have) walked on the ground of Lira San."

Notes: This would more accurately be translated as "on the surface of Lira San", however for the sake of this example I have translated it more literally.
